The ‘Quench’ project is a collaboration of Queensland based designers who have been drawn from emerging, mid-career and established professionals.
The main objective for the project is to promote new design works developed in Queensland. Launched with an exhibition in Brisbane before the event is exposed to an international audience at Design Tide in Tokyo Japan. Upon returning to Brisbane a workshop will be held for designers and students interested in taking products to the Japanese marketplace.
This collaboration will seek to promote the Queensland design industry as a whole, while also allowing the individual designers to develop new opportunities and reinforce existing ones.
